Abstract
Um aparelho (10) apropriado para inspecionar posições selecionadas de uma usina de energia nuclear. A invenção compreende uma lança (12) para se estender para uma posição em uma usina de energia nuclear a ser inspecionada, e uma videocâmara (14) afixada à lança para permitir a inspeção visual da posição a ser inspecionada. Em concretizações preferenciais, a videocâmara (14) é afixada a um mecanismo de basculamento e tomada panorâmica que pode ser ajustado por um joystick remoto ou por uma caixa de controle (25) situada sobre a lança. A videocâmara inclui uma característica autofocalizadora.
