Abstract

"AGLOMERAÇÃO DE MATERIAL DE ALUMINA". Um processo para a glomeração de pó ou poeira de um material contendo alumina (aqui chamado como ("pó de alumina")) em que é formada uma suspensão aquosa do pó de alumina, contendo a suspensão uma quantidade suficiente de um ligante constituído por uma forma polimérica de um hidróxi sal de alumínio. A suspensão é submetida a uma operação de secagem por atomização (spray srying) para a formação de grânulos aglomerados do pó de alumina, sendo a seguir calcinados os grânulos a uma temperatura elevada para sua consolidação. O material contendo alumina contém Al~ 2Õ~ 3~.nH~ 2Õ, onde n fica na faixa de zero a 3.
