Contactor para arranque de motor a combustão interna compreendendo uma cobertura de fechamento (34) equipada com dois contatos fixos (36, 38) destinados à alimentação do motor do arranque, um núcleo móvel (12) acionado por uma bobina (18), o dito núcleo móvel (12) comandando principalmente o deslocamento axial de um contato móvel (30) destinado a operar junto com os contatos fixos (36, 38), o contato móvel (30) apresentando, em frente de pelo menos um dos contatos fixos (36, 38), uma forma côncava (50).
