Uma lâmpada eletroluminescente e um sistema de iluminação intrinsicamente seguro para uso em áreas perigosas. A lâmpada tem potência de capacitância dielétrica controlada, a qual quando combinada com a corrente e a voltagem baixas de um fornecimento de energia intrinsicamente seguro, e a capacitância controlada de cada circuito de iluminação, produz um sistema de iluminação de emergência que tanto é seguro como eficiente.
