Patente de Invenção de "SELO MECÂNICO PARA VEDAÇÃO AXIAL EM BOMBAS DE LÍQUIDOS". Descreve-se um selo mecânico para vedação axial em bombas de líquidos que compreende um anel rotativo em material rígido, e um fole em material flexível e elástico (11), sendo que o dito fole define uma cavidade anular (15) na qual fica disposto um apoio de mola (13) e sendo prevista uma mola espiral (12) geralmente troncônica, disposta na câmara definida entre o anel rotativo rígido (10) e o fole flexível (11), de forma tal que a pressão do conjunto é constante e estável. As partes componentes do selo mecânico são montadas entre si mediante simples encaixe.
