Abstract
Um novo mancal hidrostático ou fluidostático linear autocompensado e método no qual preferencialmente são empregadas cavidades para recebimento do fluido pressurizado de forma circular anelar dispostos na superfície oposta da luva do mancal regulando a alimentação do fluido para bolsas longitudinais formadas na superfície oposta do mancal para prover um fino filme de fluido pressurizado na folga entre o mancal e a guia e a superfície oposta da guia. A regulagem estabelece pressões diferenciais nas bolsas opostas para compensar as cargas aplicadas nos lados opostos do mancal.
