Abstract
Polímeros de ácido itacônico são formados em elevada conversão por adição de solução de monômero completamente neutralizada e solução de iniciador a um vaso inicialmente contendo água a uma temperatura suficiente para a polimerização. Estes polímeros são biodegradáveis e são mais utilizáveis como aditivos detergentes, inibidores de incrustação e removedores, sequestrantes, coladores para fios, agentes desfloculantes, agentes de remoção de tintas, agentes de colocação em suspensão e agentes dispersantes.
