"ELEMENTO DE RECOBRIMENTO DE PRODUTOS ABSORVENTES E PRODUTO ABSORVENTE" prevê um elemento de recobrimento (5) perfurado para produtos higiênico-sanitários, tais como absorventes para mulheres, compreendendo uma camada superior (10) constituída por uma lâmina textil de material não tecido de fibra hidrofóbicas, uma camada intermediária (11) constituída por uma película de material hidrofóbico e uma camada inferior (12) também constituída por uma lâmina de material não tecido de fibras hidrofóbicas. O elemento de recobrimento (5) é aplicado em contato direto com aquela face do núcleo absorvente do produto, que se destina a contatar o corpo do usuário, quando em uso.
