Abstract
Ésteres de sulfóxido de 3-exometilenocefam são obtidos com rendimentos melhorados por meio de ciclização de ésteres de ácido 3-metil-2-(4-clorossulfinil-2-oxo-3-amino-2-abetidinil)-3-butenóico em condições anidras com um catalisador de Friedel-Crafts do tipo ácido de Lewis na presença de um composto nitro, por exemplo, nitrometano, nitroetano, nitropropano ou nitrobenzeno.
