Abstract
Um detector infravermelho térmico que compreende uma película dielétrica (5) suspensa sobre uma cavidade num substrato (6), a película suportando um elemento detector (1) compreendendo uma camada semicondutora sensível ao calor (3) entre um par de contatos metálicos de filme fino (2,4), estes sendo depositados sobre a película, a cavidade sendo formada por corrosão e retirada do material de substrato através de orifícios ou fendas (8) na superfície do substrato.
