Abstract
São descritos uma célula de membrana de prensa de filtro eletrolítica e um processo de operar a célula para produzir ácido perclórico e clórico concentrado. A célula emprega ácido hipocloroso concentrado como o anólito e opera em alta densidade de corrente, utilizando um processo de oxidação único de dois estágios para produzir ácido perclórico. A estrutura de anódio emprega uma estrutura fina com taxa de área de superfície para volume elevada durante a produção de ácido clórico, minimiza o tempo de permanência de anólito na célula.
