Abstract
Um sistema de iluminação ininterrupto à prova de falha, adaptado para suprir energia a dispositivos tais como luzes (4). Uma bateria (3) é provida para suprir energia aos dispositivos (4), e, durante a operação normal, a carga sobre a bateria (3) é mantida dentro de níveis selecionados por um sistema de controle de carregamento (5) ligado a uma fonte de energia comercial (1). Durante uma falha de energia comercial. A bateria (3) continua a suprir energia normal aos dispositivos (4) por um período de tempo prolongado, habitualmente até que a energia comercial (1) seja restabelecida, obviando assim a necessidade de uma fonte de energia de reserva separada.
