Abstract
A presente invenção trata de novos compostos sulfurados que são ésteres de poliois de ácidos mercaptocarboxílicos. A invenção também se refere à aplicação destes ésteres sulfurados para preparar polímeros que apresentam um índice de refração superior a 1,50. Dentre as aplicações óticas de tais polímeros se pode citar a fabricação de lentes e discos óticos e de guias de ondas.
