Abstract
Processo para a preparação de 3'-aminopropil-2-sulfatoetilsulfona, reagindo-se, em um processo de um só recipiente, alilamina com mercaptoetanol em ácido sulfúrico diluído, a temperaturas de aproximadamente 50°C até o ponto de ebulição, em presença de um iniciador de radical, oxidando-se a mistura reacional assim obtida com peróxido de hidrogênio, em presença de quantidades catalíticas de um composto de um metal de transição do sistema periódico dos elementos, como catalisador de oxidação, a temperaturas de aproximadamente 70 até 100°C, e concentrando-se até secura, após adição de tanto ácido sulfúrico que a quantidade total de ácido sulfúrico na mistura perfaça pelo menos 1 mol, em relação à alilamina empregada.
