Abstract
A invenção se refere a um artigo de manufatura na forma de uma compressa que é moldada ou extrudada. Em uma versão, a compressa sustentável tem, pelo menos, uma superfície plana, e uma abertura, que é essencialmente perpendicular a pelo menos uma superfície plana. A compressa pode ser manufurada de um material elastomérico sintético, e/ou tem duas aberturas e uma protuberância adjacente às extremidades proximais. A protuberância funciona como um amortecedor ou como um elemento de reforço.
