Abstract
Processos e aparelhos para reduzir o impacto de um elemento de corrente em fusão polimérica de temperatura mais alta sobre um elemento da corrente em fusão polimérica de temperatura mais baixa, e vice versa. Os processos compreendem super-resfriar o elemento da corrente em fusão mais quente, expor um ou mais dos elementos da corrente em fusão à uma condição térmica indesejável por um período de tempo limitado, e/ou utilizar uma ou mais camadas como um dissipador de calor. O aparelho é equipado com uma fileira modificada na qual um ou mais dos elementos da corrente em fusão dotados de temperaturas díspares atravessa a fieira em um trajeto abreviado na direção de extrusão do extrudado.
