Abstract
A presente invenção descreve um novo método de utilização de ácido cloroso para remover dióxido de enxofre de gases de combustão de descarga mediante a injeção, no vaso (15) contendo os gases de descarga, uma mistura de (1) o sal de um hidroxiácido orgânico tal como ácido lático, cítrico, málico, tartárico, glicólico, oxálico e mandélico ; e (2) ácido cloroso.
