Abstract
Um aparelho e método são apresentados para proporcionar privacidade em sistemas de comunicações que incluem ligações de rádio, de uma maneira que não necessita de um embaralhador/desembaralhador e cada localização conjunta chamada. O aparelho inclui um módulo base (28) que possui um divisor de chamada (30) conectado à rede de telefonia chaveada pública através de duas linhas telefônicas padrão (1-2). Um circuito de interface de passagem (34) é conectado ao divisor de chamadas entre as conexões ás suas linhas telefônicas para conectar seletivamente um embaralhador/desembaralhador (32) em série com as duas linhas telefônicas.
