Abstract
Revelam-se superfícies sintéticas, como superfícies de dispositivos protéticos implantáveis, que são modificadas para aumentar sua capacidade de suportar o crescimento, migração e fixação de células epiteliais. Uma composição modificadora de superfície é covalentemente ligada a uma superfície sintética e se aplica um revestimento de suporte de células epiteliais à superfície modificada. A composição modificadora de superfície também pode incluir um material de suporte de células epiteliais. A invenção é particularmente adequada para a modificação de lentes sintéticas de epiceratofacia.
