METAL DURO WC-1O (Ni-Al). A patente de invenção refere-se a um metal duro como 10% de fase ligante formada por níquel endurecido, por. solução sólida, com alumínio, obtido através de processos de fabricação da Metalurgia do pó convencional. Caracteriza-se por não ter a adição de cobalto e, ainda sim, apresentar dureza similar e tenacidade superior aos metais duros comerciais com ligante de cobalto WC-1OCo. Este metal duro, portanto, apresenta uma maior tenacidade sem sacrificar consideravelinente a dureza. Com isto, este metal duro pode se tornar uma opção mais barata e mais adequada para aplicações ogde um melhor compromisso entre tenacidade e dureza seja necessário.
