Abstract

COMPOSIÇÃO DE ÓLEO LUBRIFICANTE, E, MÉTODO DE LUBRIFICAÇÃO DE UM MOTOR DE VEÍCULO. Uma composição de óleo lubrificante tendo um teor de fósforo de até 0,12% em peso, um teor de cinza sulfatada de até 1,2% em peso, constituído por (a) uma quantidade maior de um óleo de viscosidade lubrificante; (b) um detergente de óleo lubrificante de alquil salicilato alcalino metálico ou alcalino terroso metálico que fornece 7 - 15 mmols de sabão de salicilato por quilograma da composição de óleo lubrificante; (c) um ou mais dispersantes que produzem uma composição de óleo lubrificante com pelo menos 0,12% em massa a 0,2 0% em massa de nitrogénio atômico, com base no peso da composição de óleo lubrificante, e (d) um modificador de viscosidade-dispersante.
