"PROCESSO PARA PREPARAR UM PRODUTO DE ÃCIDO GLUTÃRICO" A presente invenção em geral se refere a processos para a conversão quimiocatalÃtica de uma fonte de pentose em um produto de ácido glutárico. A presente invenção inclui processos para a conversão de pentose em um produto de ácido glutárico via ácido pentárico ou derivados do mesmo. A presente invenção também inclui processos compreendendo a oxidação catalÃtica de pentose em ácido pentárico e hidrodesoxigenação catalÃtica de ácido pentárico ou derivados do mesmo em um produto de ácido glutárico.
