PILAR CENTRAL PARA CARROCERIA DE VEÍCULO AUTOMOTIVO REFORÇADO CONTRA IMPACTOS LATERAIS E VEÍCULO EQUIPADO COM REFERIDO PILAR CENTRALA invenção relata um pilar central para carroceria de veículo automotivo compreendendo um pilar central de reforço (1) feito de chapa metálica embutida compreendendo uma parede inferior (2) e duas paredes laterais (3, 4) dobradas à partir da referida parede inferior (2), o pilar central de reforço (1) compreendendo em uma área exposta aos impactos laterais, um reforço em 10 chapa metálica para aumentar a resistência à deformação do pilar central contra os impactos laterais, caracterizado por referido reforço em chapa metálica (8) ser formado em forma de U com a base (9) do U sendo fixada à uma das paredes laterais do reforço do pilar central (1) e as duas asas (10,11) do U sendo dirigidas em direção da outra parede (4) do reforço (1) e sendo apoiada na 15 parede inferior (2) do referido reforço (1).
