A invenção relata o processo de obtenção do marcador luminescente à base de lons Terras Raras, compreendendo o vanadato de terra rara, que é revestido com sílica funcionalizada e que faz uso de um extensor para a conjugação com a molécula biológica. A invenção compreende o uso do marcador luminescente contendo o vanadato de terra rara para detecção e/ou quantificação da molécula biológica desejada.
