Abstract
BATERIAS ALCALINAS. A presente invenção refere-se a baterias alcalinas incluindo um anodo, um cátodo, e um separador disposto entre o anodo e o cátodo. A porasidade do cátodo é selecionada para otimizar as caracterÃsticas de desempenho da bateria. Em um aspecto, é fornecida uma célula alcalina que inclui (a) um anodo, (b) um cátodo, compreendendo um material ativo de cátodo, em que o cátodo tem uma porosidade de cerca de 25% a cerca de 30%, e (c) um separador disposto entre o cátodo e o anodo.
