ALIMENTAÇÃO SELETIVA DE AMIDO PARA AUMENTAR PRODUÇÃO DE LEITE EM RUMINANTES A presente invenção inclui um método para aprimorar a produção de leite em ruminante. Uma quantidade de amido ruminamente digerível em relação à matéria seca de uma alimentação é manipulada para incluir uma primeira proporção de amido ruminamente digerível em relação à matéria seca da alimentação que é alimentada ao ruminante durante um primeiro intervalo de tempo após parto. Após o primeiro intervalo de tempo, a quantidade de componentes de amido digerível ruminamente na matéria seca da alimentação é ajustada para uma segunda proporção, menor do que a primeira proporção, e alimentada ao ruminante.
