PROCESSO PARA PREPARAR UM 1,3-DIALQUILOXI-2-PROPANOL E COMPOSIÃÃO TENSOATIVA.Novos 1, 3-dialguiloxi-2-propanol e alcoxilatos dos mesmos podem ser preparados em bom rendimento por um processo conveniente compreendendo adicionar epiclorohidrina a um excesso estequiomÃ©trico de Ã¡lcool, sendo que a razÃ£o de Ã¡lcool:epiclorohidrina Ã© pelo menos cerca de 3:1, preferivelmente na presenÃ§a de um hidrÃ³xido de metal do Grupo 1A e um catalisador de transferÃªncia de fase. O resultado mostra excelente seletividade para as posiÃ§Ãµes de substituiÃ§Ã£o 1,3, e a cadeia alquila pode ser saturada ou insaturada e pode conter um ou mais heteroÃ¡tomos. Os alcoxilatos podem incluir unidades alcoxi repetidas na posiÃ§Ã£o 2. As composiÃ§Ãµes sÃ£o Ãºteis como tensoativos, diluentes, e similares.
