Abstract
TAMBOR DE FREIO DE PESO LEVE COM CINTA DE CHIADO DE POSIÇÃO INTERMEDIÁRIA. A presente invenção refere-se a um novo tambor de freio que inclui uma ou mais cinats de chiado posicionadas no meio que estão aproximadamente de acordo com as nervuras das sapatas de freio. Isto coloca a parte mais rígida do tambor de freio e a localização do reservatório de maior calor sobre a porção mais rígida das sapatas de freio, que é também a posição da entarda de maior calor. As aletas de esfriamento axiais que irradiam da cinta de chiado ajudam na dissipação do calor originário do atrito gerado durante o ciclo de frenagem.
