Abstract
CICLONE FILTRANTE. A presente invenção refere-se a um ciclone filtrante, que é um equipamento de separação gás-sólido, dotado de uma parede cônica filtrante. Assim, durante o funcionamento deste separador, além das correntes tradicionalmente observadas (alimentação, underflow e overflow), há ainda uma corrente adicional de gás proveniente do processo de filtração que ocorre na região cônica. O dispositivo inventivo habilita que, nas mesmas condições geométricas e operacionais de um ciclone convencional, haja uma redução no consumo energético para promover a separação da fase sólida dispersa na fase gasosa. Sua eficiência de separação é comparável à do equipamento convencional, sobretudo, quando se trabalha com maiores diâmetros de partículas.
