Abstract

A presente Invenção refere-se a um aparelho (10) para tratamento de uma área infestada (27) de um IndMduo, o aparelho compreendendo um alojamento (20) e uma unidade de iluminação (22) que está acoplada ao alojamento (20), e Inclui uma fonte de luz (28) configurada para emifir luz tendo um espectro de emissão selecionado a parir do grupo que consiste em: luz visível e luz Infravermelha, cujo espectro é melhor absorvido por uma infestação da área (27) do que pelo tecido do lndMduo, a Infestação Incluindo pelo menos uma Infestação selecionada a partir do grupo que consiste em: piolhos, e lêndeas, e o tecido Incluindo pelo menos um tecido selecionado a partir do grupo que consiste em: pele do lndMduo, e cabelo do Individuo. O aparelho (10) Inclui ainda uma unidade ótica de guia (24), acoplada ao alojamento (20), e configurada para distribuir a luz para a área (27). Outras concretizações são também descritas.
