Trata-se de um catalisador que pode ser preparado a partir de um primeiro componente representado por R'C(CF~2~R)O^-^ Q^+^ e de um segundo componente (NCCFR'')~b~Z. O catalisador pode ser combinado com um fluoropolímero que tem locais de cura contendo nitrogênio para formar uma composição curável que é útil para o preparo de compoisçêes de fluoroelastômero.
