Abstract
ADSORVENTE E MÉTODO PARA PURIFICAÇÃO DE SUCOS DE AÇÚCAR BRUTO. A presente invenção refere-se a um processo para obter açúcar branco a partir de cana-de-açúcar tratando o suco de açúcar bruto com ben- tonita ativada ácida selecionada dentre o grupo de smectitas, pelo que, a mistura de bentonita ativada com ácido substitui o processo tradicional de sulfitação hostil ao ambiente, no qual a bentonita mineral juntamente com sulfatos de alumínio e ferro, ácidos fosfórico e sulfúrico e soluções de sal ácidas permitem obter um açúcar branco de alta qualidade.
