A presente invenção refere-se a fluoroquinolonas fosfonadas, análogos antibacterianos dos mesmos, e métodos de uso de tais compostos. Estes compostos são úteis como antibióticos para a prevenção e/ou o tratamento de infecções ásseas e de articulações, especialmente para a prevenção e/ou tratamento de osteomielite.
