Abstract
MÉTODO DE EXTRAÇÃO DE ÓLEO, TAL COMO ÓLEO DE MILHO. Um método de energia baixa e custo baixo para extração de óleo de grãos esmagados, sementes, nozes, e legumes empregando um solvente halogenado. Os solventes combinados com bromo são preferidos. Em uma modalidade preferida, n-PB é empregado para extrair óleo de milho de caroços de milho esmagados. Muito pouca energia é empregada, tanto para extrair o óleo da semente, noz ou legume quanto para separar o óleo do solvente.
