Processo para dessulfuração de uma fração de gasolina contendo olefinas, compostos contendo enxofre e possivelmente moléculas pertencendo às frações C3 e C4 compreende pelo menos uma primeira etapa A para contato da referida gasolina com uma resina ácida tendo uma capacidade ácida de mais de 4,7 equivalentes por Kg e uma área de superfície específica de menos de 55 m^ 2^/g e uma segunda etapa B para fracionamento da mistura da primeira etapa.
