Abstract
"BENTONITAS PARA A LIGAÇÃO DE IMPUREZAS NA PRODUÇÃO DE PAPEL". A presente invenção refere-se a um processo para a ligação de impurezas na produção de papel, abrangendo os seguintes estágios: a) preparação de uma bentonita, em que a fração dos cátions monovalentes na capacidade de permuta de cátions (CEC) da bentonita encontra-se em pelo menos 0,7 e a CEC perfaz mais de 85 meq/100 g, preferentemente mais de 90 meq/100 g, especialmente mais de 95 meq/100 g.b) Adição da bentonita de acordo com a) a uma pasta de papel ou suspensão de material fibroso: c) ligação das impurezas à bentonita na pasta ou na suspensão de material fribroso.
