A presente invenção está direcionada a uma formulação física e química que compreende um agente contendo borato intencionado ser atrativo para moluscos terrestres, especificamente lesmas e caracóis e por eles comido. Opcionalmente, a formulação também é atrativa e tóxica para os insetos. Ao ser comida e depois de uma demora determinada, a invenção é intencionada a matar tais pestes e assim fazendo removem os mesmos do local ou ambiente tratado.
