Abstract
DISPOSITIVO GASTROINTESTINAL. A presente invenção refere-se a um dispositivo gastrointestinal que inclui um invólucro incluindo elementos de fixação adaptados para a fixação intraluminal do dispositivo em um trato gastrointestinal (por exemplo, a parede anorretal), uma válvula disposta no invólucro e controlável para se mover de uma posição fechada, que significativamente restringe a passagem de material gastrointestinal (por exemplo, fecal) além da mesma, e uma posição aberta, que permite a passagem de matéria gastrointestinal além da mesma, e um controlador operativamente conectado à válvula para o controle externo da posição da válvula entre as posições aberta e fechada.
