Formado por duas peças, sendo uma peça macho (2) com aba (4) projetando um pino (5) com estrias (6) externas, para acoplamento, em sistema irreversível, de uma peça fêmea (3) dotada, também, de uma aba (8) da qual projeta-se um pescoço cilíndrico roscado internamente, formando uma trava para a montagem de caixas e outros objetos passíveis de fechamento por partes, ditas peças (2) e (3) podendo receber numeração, letras e cores seqüenciais, formando, nesse caso, sistema de codificação para controle de lotes de animais, peças produzidas em série e outros.
