Abstract
"VEDAÇÃO DE MANCAL COM BORDO FLEXÍVEL". A presente invenção refere-se a uma vedação para uso na seção afunilada de um gargalo de rolo em um laminador. A vedação compreende um corpo de vedação circular flexível tendo um eixo central e pelo menos um flange se estendendo radialmente para fora unido por uma articulação em um bordo se estendendo angularmente. A articulação tem uma espessura reduzida quando comparado às espessuras do flange e do bordo, e o bordo tem primeiro e segundo lados convergentes levando a um aro alargado. O aro tem primeira e segunda faces periféricas que convergem para uma borda externa contida em um plano de referência paralelo ao eixo central do corpo de vedação.
