"ARTIGO POLIMÉRICO, E, MÉTODOS PARA FORMAR UM ARTIGO COMPÓSITO INORGÂNICO-POLIMÉRICO, PARA DISPERSAR UM MATERIAL PARTICULADO INORGÂNICO, E PARA AUMENTAR A RESISTÊNCIA AO DESGASTE DE UM POLÍMERO". Um método para melhorar a resistência ao desgaste de um polímero é descrito compreendendo a etapa de dispersar uniformemente um material particulado inorgânico ultrafino no polímero em uma taxa de carregamento de 0,01% a 20% em peso do peso total do compósito de polímero particulado. A misturação ou a dispersão é preferivelmente realizada sob condições de pressão sub-atmosférica para garantir a formação de poucas ou nenhumas bolhas na mistura antes da cura.
