Abstract
"FORMULAÇÕES COM DEPÓSITO PARA LIBERAÇÃO CONTROLADA". A presente invenção refere-se a métodos e composições para administrar por via sistêmica ou local um agente benéfico a um indivíduo, e incluem, por exemplo, composições de depósito de gel que podem ser injetadas dentro de um local desejado, e que proporcionam a liberação controlada do agente benéfico em um período de tempo com duração prolongada. As composições incluem um polímero biocompatível; um solvente biocompatível com baixa miscibilidade em água, que forma um gel viscoso com o polímero e limita a captação de água pelo implante, e um agente benéfico.
