Abstract
"PROCESSO APERFEIÇOADO PARA HIDROXIAZAPIRONAS". A presente invenção descreve um processo para preparação de hidroxiazapironas da Fórmula (I) a partir de azapironas da Fórmula (II). O processo compreende tratar azapironas com uma base forte, monitoramento da formação de enolato de azapirona através de espectroscopia IR, e reação do enolato com uma fonte de oxigênio molecular na presença de um redutor. O processo é adequado para produção em grande escala de hidroxiazapironas.
