Além disso, é descrito um processo para prevenir, inibir ou tratar doenças ou distúrbios associados à disfunção metabólica ou que são dependentes da expressão de um gene regulado por T~ 3~, sendo que um composto tal como descrito no presente é administrado em uma quantidade terapeuticamente eficaz.
