Abstract
"VÁLVULA DE ESPERA COM GAXETA DE PEÇA ÚNICA". Uma válvula de esfera inclui um elemento de válvula (22) e uma gaxeta de peça única (32) que sela o elemento de válvula em uma cavidade de válvula (20). A gaxeta de peça única é instalada sobre o elemento de válvula à temperatura ambiente, ou pode ser moldada sobre ele. O elemento de válvula pode incluir um elemento de controle de fluxo, tal como uma esfera (24) e munhões superior (28) e inferior (30). As várias dimensões do elemento de válvula e da gaxeta são selecionadas para facilitarem a montagem à temperatura ambiente e para reduzirem, substancialmente, o volume de material de gaxeta, desse modo melhorando a performance da válvula por faixas mais amplas de temperatura e classes de pressão.
