È divulgado aqui um artigo de limpeza como um artigo de manufatura o qual inclui um substrato sobre o qual uma composição de limpeza está parcialmente impregnada, deixando uma porção do substrato não impregnado com a composição. A porção ou lado impregnado do substrato é usado para limpar superfícies, especialmente superfícies de vitro-cerâmica, enquanto que a porção ou lado não impregnado do substrato é, então, usado para secar e polir a superfície limpa.
