Abstract
"PANELA INTERMEDIÁRIA E PROCESSO PARA A PRODUÇÃO DE UM CORDÃO DE METAL DE ALTA PUREZA". Para a obtenção da mais alta taxa de separação possível para partículas estranhas em uma panela intermediária combinada, ao mesmo tempo, com um nível minimizado de inclusões, é proposto que o espaço interno revestido com refratário da panela intermediária (1) , como uma função do nível de banho de operação (h) , satisfaça à condição de uma relação adimensional (r,) da área superficial revestida com refratário (A~ ref~) , para o volume de preenchimento (V) o qual é delimitado por esta área superficial revestida com refratário e a área superficial exposta dependente de nível de banho (A~ Top~) e resulta da relação K = A~ ref~/ (V)^ 2/3^ estar entre 3,83 e 4,39.
