Abstract
"PROCESSO DE EPOXIDAÇÃO DIRETA USANDO UM SUPORTE CONTENDO PALÁDIO SOBRE NIÓBIO". A presente invenção refere-se a um processo em fase líquida para epoxidar uma olefina com o hidrogênio e o oxigênio, na presença de um catalisador suportado compreendendo paládio sobre suporte contendo nióbio. O processo exibe produtividade e seletividade boas para a epoxidação da olefina com o hidrogênio, e o oxigênio. Isto é particularmente surpreendente porque os catalisadores típicos de epoxidação contendo paládio requerem a presença de um zeólito de titânio.
