Descreve-se um dispositivo de um elétrodo, compreendendo um núcleo e um revestimento de superfície de material eletricamente condutor, caracterizado pelo fato de que o revestimento de superfície compreende uma ou diversas camadas com uma superfície livre de poros, cada uma com uma espessura de 0,005 milímetros a 0,050 e formada por pulverização, especialmente por meio de uma técnica de pulverização de plasma a vácuo.
