Em particular, o material de celulose tem uma aplicação de polímero pré-superabsorvente aderido ao material, onde uma solução aquosa de polímero pré-superabsorvente é aplicada ao material de celulose e convertida em polímero superabsorvente quando submetida a aquecimento durante um tempo suficiente.
